Successfully upgraded my WordPress to the lastest version 2.5 tonight… The server upgrade is very simple, just follow the installation instruction provided by WordPress.

However, it seems the new version has a problem with media library. I uploaded an image from my computer by clicking Add media and it shows there is one image in Gallery but I cannot see it. In order to insert these images, I have to click Add media again and manually enter from URL. If anyone knows how to fix this, please share… Can’t find any solution on WordPress 2.5 forum regarding this issue.

In the middle of surfing the net, Apple Software Update window pops up and asks if I want to install Safari 3.1. I’m wondering why Apple’s update “invading” my Windows system? The fact is….

For the first time, Apple closely ties its Safari web browser to its iTunes and QuickTime software. Safari is not going to become a main browsers like IE and Firefox in the next year; but Mozilla developers worry that this Software Update will make Safari surpass Firefox in the next few years. March 23, 2008 on 7:43 am | In 神州 | No Comments

A week after the crackdown of Tibet protest, Taiwan elected its first President, Ma Ying-jeou who always wants to have a closer economic relationship with China. In almost 60 years, Chinese communist party finally find a “friend” across the Taiwan Straits.

Chinese government always treats Taiwan as one of its provinces; and in many ways to pressure countries who have close ties with Taiwan. Tibet is just like Taiwan, and both of them would like to claim independent from mainland China. However, both failed to do so. Tibet’s crackdown in one way or the other influences Taiwan’s Presidential Election.
