One of my friends was complaining this morning that his parents gave him an iPod shuffle as a birthday gift… “It’s ONLY $49 now. Why not a nano? nobody is buying shuffle now”.
Is this true? Thinking of the number of iPod sold is still growing every month, but the sale of low-end iPod shuffle is falling dramatically. In response, Apple lowed its 1GB shuffle from $79 to $49 and tried to stop its decline.
This is a part of life cycle of Apple products for sure.

For the first time, Apple closely ties its Safari web browser to its iTunes and QuickTime software. Safari is not going to become a main browsers like IE and Firefox in the next year; but Mozilla developers worry that this Software Update will make Safari surpass Firefox in the next few years. Safari for Windows, Apple’s another big move!
