Google aims at creating native iPhone applications… when Apple’s App Store and iPhone 2.0 firmware launch. According to Google, the company will create a native iPhone application that is similar to Google Map.

Mozilla released Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) earlier than expected… I updated it from Firefox 3 Beta. However, some of add-ons may not work with this candidate; and one of them is de.licio.us. (see RC1 release notes for details).

Firefox RC1 can be downloaded for Windows, Mac and Linux and available in 41 languages.

Firefox 3 Beta 5 is available for download from Mozilla’s download page… This beta will be the final version for Firefox 3 per Mozilla’s chief engineer. Of course, there are many bug fixes for this beta version, which including more than 700 changes since the release of beta 4 three weeks ago. The speed of Firefox 3 beta 5 is faster than beta 4.

The final version of Firefox 3 is expected in June.

Hopefully the Mozilla developers can come up with a bug-fix.

European Union approved Google’s merger with DoubleClick… the above ad appeared on DoubleClick web site right after EU announced the deal. The initial proposal was opposed by Google’s rivals Yahoo and Microsoft… and this merger will dramatically strengthen Google’s online ad businesses.

Questioning the still pending Microsoft and Yahoo acquisition… Even these two combination, don’t think they can out Googling DoubleGoogleClick.

Unlike WordPress, which a person can get a free blog by signing up on WordPress.com if he doesn’t need the flexibility of web host ; MT4 must be installed on web hosting servers and your local computer before you can start your blog. MT4 installation is very similar to WordPress’ web installation by setting up a MySQL database and installing client software on a hosting server.

Another different between these two blog publishing services is WordPress is totally free and MT4 has free personal version and paid enterprise version. Uh, so many free blog services… MT needs to open up a little.
