It’s always nice to try out a new operating system… Can’t resist Intel Apple’s slick design and dual OS running ability. Finally got my hands on an Intel Macmini, think this is the cheapest way to convert to Mac; there is no sweat to have my Vista Ultimate and Windows XP installed on Parallel Desktop. Linux is also an option besides of Mac OSX and it’s FREE. There are many Linux distributions out there (screen shots of distributions) and most known are RedHat, Debian, OpenSuSE, Xandros, and Ubuntu; plus free Sun’s Solaris 10 and FreeBSD. Each ISO image can be downloaded from either its own website or here. Since Linux is open source, its kernel can be obtained and modified to fit your own needs. You even can get its earlier version of kernel if you would like to play around with its source codes.
